Main Feature:
The function of this soft start board is to reduce the instantaneous impact
current at startup to reduce the impact of the machine on the power
grid and extend the life of the switch.

In order to improve the triggering probability of the discharge tube,
there is an auxiliary triggering agent in the discharge tube.
It is composed of a pair of cold negative plates separated from each other
and encapsulated in a ceramic tube filled with a certain inert gas
(Ar).
The gas discharge tube is turned off under normal working conditions, and its
inter-electrode resistance is above megohm level. When the surge voltage
exceeds the withstand voltage strength of the circuit system, the gas
discharge tube is broken down and an arc discharge phenomenon occurs.
Because the arc voltage is low, only tens of volts, it can limit the
surge voltage further rise in a short time .
The gas discharge tube is to use the above principle to limit the surge
voltage, and discharge the lightning transient overcurrent and limit the
overvoltage to the circuit.
This board uses ultra-high current (100A) pure copper pin relay and 4
ultra-large thermistors NTC 20D-20, which effectively protects the
machine and prevents excessive startup current.
This board does not need auxiliary power supply, only 2 terminals, one is
connected to power input (before connected to a switch control), and one
output is connected to load, which is very convenient to use.
Working principle:
At the initial stage of power-on, the load is supplied through the
thermistor with negative temperature coefficient. As the temperature of
the thermistor increases, the resistance decreases and the voltage rises
slowly, thereby effectively suppressing the surge current impact on the
line and other electrical appliances Impact. After about 2 seconds, the
relay pulls in (adjustable pull-in time, see the figure for details),
the thermistor is short-circuited, and the power supply will directly
supply power to the load through the relay contacts, and the load enters
a normal working state.
