The Torino 380W is an E-segment passenger car, manufactured in Argentina by the assembler Industrias Kaiser Argentina in the 1960s. This car is a version of the IKA Torino model, which was presented at the time as the most powerful version of the range. The 380 W was presented at the end of 1966 as a coupé with a self-supporting chassis, which had the particularity of being equipped with three double-mouth Weber carburettors, each 45 mm in diameter, which were arranged in a row and coupled directly to the engine without the need for the use of an intake manifold. This equipment gave the vehicle the ability to exert a power of 176 HP, reaching a maximum speed of almost 200 km/h with a consumption of 7 km/liter at 100 km/h, although at the same time it presented some controversies about reliability. their use and their consumption, at a time when a major crisis was beginning to unfold in the energy sector. Its engine was a 230-cubic-inch (3,770 cm3) four-bank Tornado Superpower inline six-cylinder. It was manufactured until 1970 when it was replaced by the Torino GS, a model that beyond continuing with the philosophy of being equipped with the three carburettor fuel system, received a redesign in the aesthetic part and was provided with new improvements that increased its benefits, to the point of reaching 215 HP of power and exceeding the 200 km/h barrier.1
