1920s goddess inspired gown has exceptional details and beautiful hand-sewn beadwork & embroidery! It's an authentic antique dress with hints of both Titanic era and flapper era styling, dating from the late 1910s to ealry 20s. The gown is specially cut with tulip style half sleeves, two symmetric spans of curved gathers at the hip, and a fluttering drape to the right side. The bodice and skirt have a gorgeous pattern of grape clusters and vine-like tendrils in clear glass beads and silk pick-stitched embroidery, all hand-sewn with a couched effect. The back is just as intriguing, with two ethereal self bands of silk from shoulder to hem. Has picot edging. A very fine collector's item in wearable condition!

Condition Detail
Silk is intact but will be fragile, no current signs of shattering or specifically weak areas, the right hip drape is partly sewn in place, partly "draping" moreso than it did originally, can be sewn back into place if desired; left hip originally had something sewn there, likely another drape symmetric to that on the right side, no longer present; two very small perspiration marks under the arms (less than 2 x 1 inches under right arm, a mere hint of a 1-inch line under the left) that would be hard to notice when worn; the back panels connect only at shoulder and hem but appear to have originally been sewn to the hip as well (some embroidery remains at back hip seam and there are horizontal lines of stitching holes on the panels) and could be reconnected here; two brown dots at front hem
