These Shimadzu Clan satsuma bowls appear to be from the Maiji Period. The larger Nut bowl has a lid with gold knob handle on top. The two individual bowls as well as the larger serving bowl are painted dark navy blue to black with gold flowers, vines and birds. Pink flowers with gold accents decorate inside the bottom of the large bowl.
