Blades have a mirror finish-never sharpened. The large blade does have some light stain or haziness-not sure what caused it? Both blades snap. Sides are very nice-no damage at all. They have a pearl type look to them. Long blade Measures approx. 2 5/8". Knife with blades closed measures approx. 3 3/8".  Always glad to combine shipping when possible. Thanks for bidding!
