Advantage of Solid Flywheel conversion set:
- Stock clutch set ups on most newer Nissan/Infiniti's use a dual mass flywheel. Dual mass flywheels are generally pretty heavy and leave a lot to be desired in terms of performance and durability under heavy use such as track driving. One of the easiest ways to change the driving characteristics of your Nissan/Infiniti is to delete the dual mass flywheel and replace it with solid flywheel that is significantly lighter than stock yet much more durable. This kit uses a solid chromoly flywheel that weighs in at 17.8 pounds (approx 40% weight reduction). The factory OEM clutch set combined with the deletion of the dual mass flywheel you'll get quicker engine response and a better feeling clutch that's designed to handle more abuse.
