Scope stands 5 1/4" tall extended with objectives in place.
The scope red leather covered carry case lacks a brass push button clasp assembly. The microscope lacks the flea bug forcep tweezers that mounts into the hole you see on the side of the stage. There is one bone specimen slide with one chipped end that came with the microscope.
The outfit has three (3) threaded button objectives marked "1," "2," and "3" and also has two other pieces, one being a live box lacking the round glass pieces. It fits on top of the stage - and has the same knurling as the objectives. The other piece is a finger magnifying lens with two lens elements, which is threaded and altho has the identical edge knurlings as the rest of the objectives and lens component, it does not seem to fit anywhere on this microscope on offer. It may have fitted into a separate hand scope made by the same maker as the scope on offer. Hard to say.
The microscope has its original mirror with 95% silvering and has its original yoke. Scratches, minor scattered surface and wear throughout consistent with age and use but overall displays nicely. Please see all photos as they are part of the description. There are newer pins placed into some of the original hinge holes, replacing the old ones that broke away years ago. The scope retains most of all of its original lacquer, has some minute scattered speckling from handling, but has some wear on the squared upright shaft where the stage assembly slides up and down.
