This is a Great Northern 40 foot boxcar with roof walk.  The car and box are in perfect condition.  There is NO Micro Trains price tag on the box.

The car was released in September 1992.  The car has reached a high auction value of $175.00 in the past.

In the 1950s when almost all boxcars were brown, or boxcar red officially, the Great Northern Railroad decided to paint a group of cars different colors with different graphics and solicit opinions on which were most eye-catching.  These later became known as "Circus Cars" for their bright colors.

The GN car has a build date of June 1955.  The car is painted gray with red, black, and white printing.  The GN car has end printing.
