This is an OEM type single reservoir master cylinder for many 1955-1964 Chevy applications with original drum brakes. Has a 1" bore and a 7/16"-24 IFF outlet port. Not for use with disc brakes.

Catalog Correction: This unit has a 7/16" outlet, not a 3/8" port as stated in our catalogs.

Part did not fit my mule drawn wagon.
Summary: The master cylinder was exactly as described, unfortunately it did not fit the set up on our mule drawn wagon that I needed it to replace! Since there was no return, I left it with the garage that did the repair and had to purchase another one that did fit!

Master Cylinder
Summary: The ad for this master cylinder shows it as a 3/8" inlet port when it is a 7/16". This isn't a big problem but considering I live in the Boonies I can't get a 7/16" Male inverted flare to a 3/8" Female inverted flare without reordering. I got the complete brake line and fittings from you. Over the years this is the fourth set of brake lines I've got from you, and the first problem. Send me one if you can.
