Original product version - this is an Ubiquiti Unifi UAP Wireless Access Point providing 300MBps of data transfer rate at 2.4GHz.

Comes with Ubiquiti firmware but can also run OpenWRT for more flexibility. No direct links can be used on eBay but https://openwrt.org/toh/ubiquiti/unifi_ap has details of this.

These units are supplied with a wall/ceiling mounting bracket and are in good working condition; some minor marks can be expected however, as these are not brand new.

See photos for typical units; I have different generations of these units so the precise type of bracket, stickers/labels and of course serial number etc. may differ from the ones shown in the photos. Some units have been mounted in rooms that were exposed to sunlight, so plastics may be yellowed etc.

Please message me if you are looking for a specific revision of UAP (note that this is not the same as the different *models* such as UAP Pro, UAP AC, UAP AC Pro, etc.; this listing is for UAP only). I only now have units left with the 'star/lines' Ubiquiti logo, not with the 'U' style logo.

The central LED on these units is green/amber and no separate power supply is included. These access points will run from an Ubiquiti network switch or any other device that can supply 24V passive PoE - an eBay search for "PoE 24V" turns up many suitable results. Use with 802.3af PoE requires an inline adapter (not included with this listing)

These can be used on your existing network to provide wireless access, and are easy to set up using the controller software available from ui.com/download/unifi/ - this is an older model of access point but still works with the latest v7 controller software (I use v7.1 myself). Once the access point is set up, you do not need the controller software unless you wish to manage or monitor usage.
