Pay Phones

Vintage, small poster in B&W of a bank of public telephones. Probably taken in a transit station in NY City. No date but published in NY circa the early 1970s by Scholastic Magazines and Book Services.

An early image by noted photographer Dick Hyman (d. 2022.) In retrospect, an interesting visual statement on a ubiquitous modern convenience that has now all but vanished from the American scene.

11 x 17 inches. Reverse side is blank. VG with original center fold and a couple of minor creases. Stored flat for many years. To avoid refolding, will ship rolled in a tube inside a box.
