Back when the hobby was young, there was a desire for a national magazine for bottle collectors. One of the early publications was the Old Bottle Magazine (Bottles, Insulators, Relics) 50 cents. We collectors used this to help us with prices and identify other collectibles.
This is Volume 2, No. 10, and it is the “Avon Issue” from October 1969. Avon’s were making some noise as collectibles, and it was addressed in this issue. If you are an Avon collector, this is a must have to see the early expectations and prices. For any collector, it’s an interesting addition to your collection room.
