You are buying a new Sanyo replacement battery to fit certain Braun Oral-B toothbrushes that use a Lithium-ion battery, such as the Genius models.

This high-capacity rechargeable battery is the same model of Sanyo battery fitted by Braun to many Li-ion powered Oral-B toothbrushes at the factory. This includes the Genius X, 10000, 9000, 8000, 7000, Smart 6000 and some other Smart or Pro models. Compatible brushes are all marked with type numbers 3765, 3766, 3767, 3771 or 3772 on the bottom of the toothbrush handle. This battery is only suitable for replacing other Lithium-ion batteries and must not be used where the original battery is Ni-Cd or Ni-MH chemistry.

The battery is fitted with flexible, flat solder tags designed for easy fitment and soldering. The tags will need to be folded into shape to match the tags on your original battery and then trimmed with sharp scissors. Lithium-ion batteries can ignite if short-circuited so great care must be taken when handling and fitting to avoid short-circuits.

It is strongly recommended that you open up your toothbrush before ordering to double-check the battery measurements because different sizes were sometimes fitted to different batches of the same model. You must be competent at soldering to fit this replacement and the fitted tags will need trimming to suit your toothbrush.

Our battery tags are carefully welded into place using specialist, instant resistance-welding machines for batteries. Do not attempt to solder anything directly onto an untagged Ni-MH, Ni-Cd or Lithium battery as the heat will cause internal damage and the battery might combust. Unless otherwise stated our batteries are fitted with extra-narrow, 3mm-width solder tags for maximum flexibility in fitting your toothbrush.
