This traditional shepherd figure was created by Ann Richards in 1984.  The figure is made of sheep's wool and other natural fibers.  His face is painted on soft nylon.  The shepherd is holding a lamb in one arm and a staff in the other hand.  The staff does have some damage, namely some bends and exposed wire at the bottom.
