Davenport B-5738, KM ---.

PCGS MS 63.

Incredibly RARE the only ONE in Certified Population Taler of August of Brunswick-Luneburg as a Prince-Bishop of Ratzeburg (1610-1636). This is an example of the coinage upon the death of the Prince-Bishop with single die reflecting the WildMan facing left. Extremely RARE and cited as Davenport B5738 this particular type of thaler is not reflected in Krause and only once mentioned in Welter (Fiala-6114).  We are offering one unique specimen graded as MS 63 by PCGS - the only one in high grade known to go through the auctions! One similar type of taler was sold on Kuenker in October 2021 for $6000 hammer-price with much more inferior state of preservation. Attractive aged patina with touch of golden irrediscence - the signature coin and best addition to ANY collection! Marked as Davenport 5737 on a holder which is not entirely correct. This is a one in a lifetime opportunity for the collectors and the investors!
