Attention collectors, show exhibitors! This is a beautiful vintage Sterling Silver shank stainless steel show curb bit with GORGEOUS engraved sterling overlay on the hinged cheeks and tie bar in the Californio Vaquero style made by Norm Vogt, Les Vogt's uncle. The bit is marked VOGT on the inside right cheek and the close up photos show the fabulous quality of the engraving on the stunning shanks. This is a very well made stainless steel bit with a 3/8 inch diameter by 5 inch wide copper inlaid low and wide mouthpiece with a port that measures 1-1/4 inches tall by 2-1/2 inches wide. The shanks measure 8 inches long with a 2-1/2 inch purchase for a 3.2 to 1 leverage ratio and weighs under 1 pound making it a nice light bit. This stunning bit will make a great addition to your show bit collection and will look great in any show ring setting.
