Clancy was a true minstrel - a one-of-a-kind singer, banjo player, composer, drummer, pianist, lyricist, guitarist, bandleader & all-around entertainer - and he truly shines on this 25 track collection of never released tracks. Included are songs he made in 1946 on one of the first available tape recorders on crude paper-backed magnetic tape, as well as the Tune Termites broadcasts, songs with the Bay City Boys, solo performances of his best original lyrics, plus some of his best solo efforts accompanying himself on guitar or piano, and finally his last moments on tape (from a reel marked "Clancy - Jaw Removed," from the early '70s after his cancerous jaw had been removed).
