This is an another RARE and UNIQUE coin from "Wildman" type taler of Georg Wilhelm of Brunswick-Luneburg-Callenberger (1648-1705). This particular coin came from Robert C. Knepper Collection and reflect different type of dies used - obverse with shield and helmets represented as 6528 in Davenport Book with the reverse has features Davenport 6529 with Wildman holding the tree without crone branches and the different ground design which was used in later talers. The date is 1660 so it is not quite a mule coin rather different (probe) dies used - either way it is the only specimen we can see on auctions! RARE and UNIQUE! Especially valuable because of state of preservation - graded as MS 62 by PCGS! Attractive gray patina with touch of golden toning, sharp details of the design - perfect collectible from all perspectives!!!
