This is a lovely Gilt Silver Fob from Japan. This item was purchased in Japan by my father in the early 1950's during the period he was a Junior Naval Officer during the Korean War.  He was stationed in Japan and periodically made purchases of local antiques. The flowered embellishments are typical of refined Japanese workmanship of the period and the backside of the Fob is also incised.  I estimate the item dates from the early 1900's based on the provenance notes I have.  The condition of the piece is Very Fine to Fine
