USA Scott # CVP84 - 45¢ Flag design from the "Mail & Go" postal kiosk
+ Bonus:  Super Target flyer advertising the machines that vended #CVP84!

From late 2011 to January 2013, the Super Target stores tested 8 of the Pitney Bowes "Mail & Go" stamp & postage vending machines in stores in the greater Dallas / Ft. Worth (Texas) area.

You will receive:
1)  1x 45¢  CVP84 from one of the machines in the Dallas area
2)  1x double-sided flyer that Super Target used for advertising the machines (which they referred to as "USPS self-service mailing stations" as shown on the flyer).   Both of these items are shown in image #1

Notes:
  • Image #2 is a photo of one of the Mail & Go postal kiosks.
  • Image #3 is of a sign at the entrance of a Super Target store advertising that they have the postal kiosks (from Oct. 2011 to January 2013).
  • Image #4 is of a map showing all 8 of the locations in the greater Dallas area while they were in operation.
Note: I do have a 16-page exhibit about the "DFW Super Target Mail & Go trials" available as a free PDF file download from one of my websites.  This exhibit was shown at the Mid-Cities Stamp Club EXPO's in 2012 & 2013 (gold awards) and the TEXPEX in 2013 & 2014 (silver awards).

This is a great item for the specialist collector that wants to display a related item with one of these stamp.  As far as I know, I'm the only that has some of these flyers.

More Notes:
  • The flyer is double-side printed; I'm showing both sides on the scan.
  • The CVP84 flag stamps were printed in a sheetlet of 10 which has all stamps next to each other; in order to sell these as single stamps, the stamp had to be transferred to another piece of backing paper (which happens to come from the USPS...).

--> I do have other USA ATM & CVP items available, please see my other listings or contact me if you are looking for something specific.

Shipping only via tracked 1st Class Mail, foreign shipments possible but no tracking (and sent at your own risk).  Lot will be mailed in a 6x9" envelope with a stiffener to limit the ability of the USPS to bend the Super Target flyer while in transit ... (the ad flyer is on light board stock).
