The dress has been knitted in a wide rib giving it a pleated look with the
waistband in an attractive cable design, which is repeated in the shoulder
yoke and cuffs. The borders are in an unusual slipped stitch pattern which
is extremely firm and has the appearance of a woven fabric.
Materials:
3 ply or fingering or you could try 4 ply once you have checked the tension
Measurements:
To fit 34 inch bust. Length 39.5 inches
Sleeve seam 18 inches
Tension over 3 ply (fingering)
7.5 sts to 1 inch in stocking-stitch on No. 10 needles
The needles are old sizes so I have included a conversion chart for
reference to modern sizes.
