Matching Additional Leather Belt Loops / Keepers For Belts, Bag Straps or Dog Collars

Select Colour and Belt Width the Loop/ Keeper is intended for.

Choose either a Plain Edge Loop (NO STITCHING) or Stitched Edge Loop.

Each image displays the plain loop at the top and the stitched edge loop at the bottom of image so you can see the difference between a stitched edge and a plain loop.

The price displayed is for ONE loop only and the price varies depending on the size of the loop and whether you opt for a 'stitched edge' or a 'plain edge' loop.

If you require both a plain and a stitched edge loop then you would need to add these to the basket one at a time.

The stitched edge is purely decorative and will be sewn with a matching thread.

i.e. if you Select 'Black' the thread will also be 'Black'.

N.B. These loops are made to slide onto an existing belt.

The leather loops do not unclip – i.e. the two ends are joined by a fixed rivet.

The leather loops are made of high quality vegetable tanned full grain leather.

If you require a Basket Weave Embossed Loop then please add a note to your order. Basket weave print is available in the following colours: Black, Brown and Tan and only for belts that are 30 - 60mm wide.

If you require a loop that unclips with a Press Stud please see the links below for these items:

Small Size Loop - Unclips With Press Stud

Medium Size Loop - Unclips With Press Stud

Large Size Loops - Unclips With Press Stud

Further Detailed Instructions:
-----------------

Measure the width of your belt and select the desired ‘Colour’ and ‘Belt Width’ from sizes offered on the drop down list.

We will then make a loop with a circumference that will accommodate the width of the belt you have selected.

i.e. If you select '40mm' we will make a loop to fit a 40mm wide Belt or Bag Strap.

N.B. The sizes we provide are not the diameter of the loop.

Loop diameters are always larger than the belt width as they must be able to slide over two layers of the belt and must also accommodate the width of the belt or strap it is intended for.

Belt Loop Colours: Black, Brown, Dark Brown, Tan, Light Tan, Navy Blue, White, Green, Burgundy, Natural, Red or Basket Weave Embossed Loops  are available in either Black, Brown or Tan.

Dimensions we use to make our loops
----------------------------------------------------
1.LOOPS/ KEEPERS Made for Belts and Straps 28mm (1 1/8") Wide and Over:

Loops made for belt and bags straps that are 28mm (1 1/8") wide and over are made to accommodate two layers of leather that are approximately 3.5 - 4mm thick for each layer i.e. a maximum of approximately 8mm ( 5/16" ) thick for two layers.

2.LOOPS/ KEEPERS Made for Belts and Straps Under 28 (1 1/8")mm:

Loops made for belt and bags straps that are under 28mm wide are made to accommodate two layers of leather that are approximately 3 mm thick for each layer i.e. a total of approximately 6mm (1/4") thick for two layers.

---

We use the above measurements as we have found them to be the average size for most belts and bag straps.

If your belt or strap differs to the average measurements we use to make our loops or you need the loop to accommodate less or more than two layers then you may need to size up or down to allow for this difference.

Alternatively please contact us if you require a custom size and we can provide a price for this service.

N.B. Customized products are non-returnable as they are made to your specification and cannot be resold as a standard product.

---------------------

The width of the leather strips that we use to form the loops are as follows:

Loops made to fit belts that are 10mm - 25mm Wide - The Leather strips that we use to form the loops are 10mm wide.
Loops made to fit belts that are 28mm -35mm Wide - The Leather strips that we use to form the loops are 12mm wide.
Loops made to fit belts that are 38mm Wide and above - The Leather strips that we use to form the loops are 16mm wide.

i.e. The strips of leather are formed into loops and will accommodate the width of the belt selected from the drop down list. i.e. If you select 30mm we will make a loop to fit a 30mm wide belt and the strip of leather used to make this loop will be 12mm wide.

SIZE CONVERSION Millimeters To Inches.

We use Millimeters to describe belt / strap widths but if you require the size in Inches then we have given a rounded approximation below to help you visualize the sizes we use.

Millimeters To Inches (rounded to nearest 1/16, 1/8, 1/4 or 1/2 inch):

10mm = 3/8 inch
12mm = 1/2 inch
15mm = 5/8 inch
20mm = 3/4 inch
22mm = 7/8 inch
25mm = 1 inch
28mm = 1 1/8 inch
30mm = 1 3/16 inch
32mm = 1 1/4 inch
35mm = 1 3/8 inch
38mm = 1 1/2 inch
40mm = 1 9/16 inch
45mm = 1 3/4 inch
50mm = 2 inch
55mm = 2 3/16 inch
60mm = 2 3/8 inch

Handy Tip:

If you require an additional leather belt loop to be positioned someway around your waist when wearing trousers then the following is the best way to achieve this:

Hold the leather loop in position against your trousers waist band where you intend to use it. Slide the belt through the first trouser loop(s) and then the additional leather loop whilst holding it in position against your trousers and then through the remaining 'trouser loops' . You will then find that you do not need to pass the free sliding leather loop through the restricted area of the 'trouser loops' as it will already be in the correct position on your waistband.

N.B. If buying the loops at the same time as one of our belts listed on Ebay then please add a note stating to match belt purchased.

Or if for a previous belt purchased from us please include the SKU code of your belt or the page link / URL.

We will then make sure to send the correct matching style.
