8 by 5.5 inch image - framed and glazed watercolour of 'Waldersee' near Salzburg c1900 - in the spring with snow on the mountains.
Purity of colours and washes grasp the clear mountain air - a subject which suits the trademark Rowbotham highly developed and practiced techniques and which makes the painting immediately recognizable as being by Rowbotham.
Might need a tack or 2 to secure it as I removed it to photograph.
Very nice condition. Some very minor foxing as can be seen near the signature. There is some slight fading associated with 120 years.
