Ancient Roman Cream Ware Flagon, a small beverage serving jug.

This intact vessel is perhaps too small to be considered a true flagon, which typically held
about 1.1 litres, but it is nonetheless a drink serving jug. This would be considered
common cream ware, as it is bare clay with no slip or glaze. Cream ware was widely
produced in northern France. Due to the ring or rings at the neck, it was probably
produced in the 1st to 2nd century AD.
123 mm high, approximately 105mm diameter.

Intact, save for some chipping at the base, and around the lip of the neck
