This small Satsuma Kinkozan sugar bowl with lid was made during the Meiji period. Hand painted flowers, greenery and butterflies bring this work of art to life. Note the green bamboo handles an lid with bamboo knob. Dark blue, iron red, pink flowers are among green foliage with gold accents.
