Honda HISS Key Program Cable

This is a custom made cable.  It contains everything to program your key, (key and ID chip not included).

Connect the cable to the crank sensor/ECU sensor connector using the supplied custom designed and 3D printed connector which is keyed for correct polarity.

Connect the crocodile clips to the battery.

The cable I supply has a press button for the required 'disconnection' in the programming sequence, rather than disconnect the crocodile clips from the battery, just press and hold the button for the correct duration.

Another seller claims a switch may affect resistance (lol), this is the 21st century.  A normally closed (nc) switch over a 1m cable has ZERO resistance, and when pressed, it becomes open circuit, simple.  Ignore silly claims, the switch makes the process far easier and has ZERO effect.  Just image if switches affected modern electronics like the other seller claims. Trying to disconnet and reconnect a crocodile clip from the battery rather than use a button is more problematic and can be fiddly.

The assembly is just over 1m in total length, the button is midway.  The button holder contains the correct resistor.

The cable is not fused, a fuse holder can be put inline if needed although I have never used one.

The cable is 18 awg, rated a 300v (it is not speaker cable as another seller claims)

Pattern version of Honda Part number: 07XMZ-MBW0101

IMPORTANT - If you have lost all of your keys, this will not work for you, you need a working key to successfully program additional keys

Returns not accepted, we are not here to loan you a cable for you to program your key then return it.

I received an offer of a silly price, I rejected it but the potential buyer left the following message...

"Sorry, i like to support small business but at the end of the day its just 2 wires with a resistor so i can't justify the price."

For the record, this is NOT just 'two wires and a resistor'.
Yes, a similar result can be achieved with two wires and a resistor, but this is a custom made cable, with a custom 3d designed and printed crank case plug with spade connectors, it also has a push to break switch and two crocodile clips (upgraded version of what is in the photo).

The entire assembly is soldered, sealed with sealant at joints and heat shrinked.  They take in the region of 40 minutes to make on top of the material costs.  Then there are eBay fees and PayPal fees,

This leave a few quid profit.

So, if you want two wires and a resistor, this is not for you.

Usage instructions are available on YouTube "how to re-program my key on a honda" should find it.

I cannot offer any advice on usage or any other bikes this may work on.
