This is an amazing set up that is very interesting, and useful, that can occupy you during these hard times. This was a gift for my son, but we never set it up so it has been sitting for a few years and never been touched. The aquaponics kit new is $300, and the tank new is $110. Not only do you get to watch the fish, but you also get to grow plants in a very eco friendly manner. Here is the description from the ECOLIFE website, "Aquaponics helps drastically reduce the demand for resources for agriculture while providing fresh, naturally-grown produce all year long. With The ECO-Cycle Aquaponics Kit, you can bring organic greens into your home, classroom, or business while demonstrating your commitment to a healthier environment and safer food systems." The last picture is taken from their website and shows what the final product would look like.
