This ebay Buy-It-Now offering provides (1) NEW Ingersoll Rand 1710A-329 FULLY ADJUSTABLE AIR REGULATION reverse valve body with screw, bezel, detent kit and new quad sealing rings. These are the same parts that are used for and will work with Ingersoll Rand air adjustable pressure regulation through the forward/ reverse valve spool on IR261, 3/4" drive and IR271, 1" drive models. These parts are obsolete for over 20 years from the Ingersoll Rand warehouse tool and parts inventory. Look closely at the above shown photos to see the difference in the full flowing non-adjustable valve spools I offer in my eBay listing #124087851745 and compare the subtle difference in the adjustable valve I offer here in 2 separate lots.

SPECIAL SERVICE NOTES ABOUT THESE VALVES. READ BEFORE PURCHASE TO AVOID A FALSE CLAIM OF FITMENT OR TOOL OPERATION. RETURNS AND REFUNDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
These extremely rare old style OEM IR1710A-329 VALVES ARE DESIGNED FOR 6-position air adjustable flow reverse and forward position valves. That means that they work on older Ingersoll Rand original model 261 3/4" drive and model 271 1" drive air wrenches. You don't have to add an external air regulator on the airline to control or limit the torque output of your tool. Ingersoll Rand eliminated adjustable regulator valves more than 15 years ago. They still indicate to their customers in their printed literature about how end users of the IR261 and IR271 air wrenches can regulate their tool torque output by the 6-POSITION rotation of the reverse valve. This is not true information and it is misleading. You can ONLY now buy a new and non-adjustable regulator valve for this tool under the IR1710-329 part number. These 2 complete air adjustable reverse valve kits offered in 2 separate lots in this listing will only work on a 261 or 271 tool which has numbers 1-2-3-4-5-6 factory stamped in a semi-circular pattern around the reverse valve port on your tool. You also must have the factory housing with a special indexed bushing pressed into the 261 or 271 housing that allows the indexing of the reverse valve detent spring and ball I provide. Installing this kit in a 261 or 271 tool not equipped with the indexing bushing I mention means this valve will rotate or spin and not properly control adjustable air tool regulation through the forward/reverse valve body. If your tool housing valve spool bushing is excessively worn these valves may not operate as designed. I will not allow a return for any reason. If you are unsure ask questions and seek help here or from a professional tool repair technician before buying. These are rare parts that I am not providing warranty service for as the matching OEM tool housing is also obsolete for this parts kit.

Note: 1 lot of 7 pieces per valve kit is offered for the B-I-N price. There are (2) total lots offered for sale. The picture above shows the items offered for sale as (2) separate lots for (2) separate B-I-N purchases.
