This set of 8 fruit bowls was purchased by my client in 1969 when she lived in London. They were NEVER USED, carefully wrapped and stored for decades. Now that the beloved Queen has passed, they have been made available to you!
These lovely fruit bowls (or perhaps trinket bowls?) are made by Midwinter of Staffordshire, England. They are semi-porcelain with a lovely 22k gilded rim of which all 8 bowls are in beautiful condition free from missing gold trim. The transferware pattern on all 8 bowls is in mint condition! Upon close inspection, you may find a bit of very minor crazing which eventually happens to all porcelain. They are free from chips, nicks, ticks, and all the other words used to describe damage.
