Main features:
The function of the soft starter board is to reduce the impulse current at the moment of startup, so as to reduce the impact of the machine on the power grid and extend the life of the switch. This board uses super current (100A) pure copper pin relay and super large thermistor NTC 20D-20 to effectively protect the machine from excessive starting current.
This board does not need auxiliary power supply. It has only two terminal blocks, one connected to power input (previously connected to a switch control), and one connected to load. It is very convenient to use.
Working principle:
At the initial stage of power on, the load is powered by the thermistor with negative temperature coefficient. As the temperature of the thermistor rises, the resistance value drops and the voltage rises slowly, thus effectively suppressing the impact of surge current on the line and other electrical appliances. After about 2 seconds, the relay will pull in and short-circuit the thermistor. The power supply will directly supply power to the load through the relay contact, and the load will enter the normal working state.
