Hot kitchen battle in the "Pot Pourri" bistro: Who can best demonstrate their cooking skills in this fun cooking game and secure the most gourmet stars?
Three to five people aged eight and over compete in "Pot Pourri" with their culinary skills and try to keep a cool head even in the hot steam of the kitchen. Because there are only three cooking pots for everyone - and the annoying pot lid is often in the way...
As in any real kitchen, the first thing to do before cooking is to get the ingredients. Then delicious dishes can be conjured up from fish, rice, onions and seven other foods to choose from. It doesn't matter whether it's Mediterranean, Slavic, French, Far Eastern or American/ TEX-MEX , it's always important to follow the recipe as precisely as possible and to fill the pots with as many matching ingredients as possible. Because the more matches you later have between the ingredients in the pot and your own recipe, the more spaces your own token can be moved on the gourmet track and you get a little closer to winning. Since there are only three pots on the stove, which all have to share in the game round, nobody can cook their own soup!
Even if pot and lid normally belong together, this combination is rather a hindrance with "Pot Pourri". Because with the annoying lid, a pot can be blocked and another dish may be served earlier. Nimble cooks are rewarded, because as soon as someone has redeemed six recipes, the final scoring begins. If you have collected many recipes in a category that has a high multiplier at the end of the game, you can collect a lot of points here again - and thus perhaps show the most gourmet stars.
