Ref: WA/12D/BL/38*300 mm width, 215 mm depth, 145 mm height. (11.75” x 8.5” x 5.6” approx)
*inlaid banding to lid with diamond shaped inlaid parquetry to the escutcheon and cartouche to lid
*Relined with quality black 100% wool felt
*Complementary quality hand marbled paper to inside of lid.
*Tray separated into 5 compartments, 2 of which includes ring-rolls.
*Ample storage space below the removable tray.
*Original lock, stop hinges.. no key
*100% wool felt to the bases of the box and tray to protect furniture.
* box of solid construction…all veneers are stable. Signs of stress related veneer crack to the lid…(see last two images)
***Please bear in mind that antique boxes will almost certainly show historic marks, dents, small missing pieces, shrinkage and stress lines…all of which are normal and often desirable attributes for an antique lover.
