This necklace came from the estate of an Egyptian family. The woman managing the sale said it was amber and silver. I have made no attempt to clean it because the tarnish gives it more character. The amber beads are golden and dark brown making interesting beads. Each amber bead is capped to create completed look. The sections are linked with S shaped chain links. It’s a fantastic tribal piece. I do not guarantee anything about the description, silver or amber. I have not tested, and have nothing to verify other than the woman’s description. She was the daughter and the piece belonged to her mother. So the price is less than if I could verify the silver content. I do believe it’s amber, and it’s probably coin silver, therefore not being much silver to start with. But really, who cares? It’s a great piece of vintage tribal boho jewelry from Egypt. Oh, there is no clasp. It long enough to just slip easily over your head. Please review all photos carefully. They do constitute a large portion of the description.

I do my best to ship the next day. It’s not always possible. I am the sole caregiver for my 96 year old mother with dementia. She comes 1st. All the money I make goes to pay for her care while I’m at work. I will combine shipping by flat rate or weight, and I will let you know if for any reason there’s a delay in shipping because of my mother’s health.

All packages will ship USPS 1st class unless you request other shipping. insurance is suggested on all packages over $100. All packages shipped to Italy will require registered mail, no matter the cost. you have horrid mail service. If you do not want registered mail I cannot assume responsibility for loss in shipping.
