**Please note: Freeze dried powders have around 98% of its natural moisture removed. This process also retains more nutrients—especially the vitamins and minerals. However, they do tend to suck up humidity from our tanks. This can make them turn gummy and begin to harden in the dish, however they are still safe for the crabs to eat. I suggest mixing them with other, more dense, food items or sprinkling the powders on things such as popped popcorn or puffed millet. Dehydrated foods have less natural moisture removed and the nutrient loss is greater. They also tend to mold quicker in crabitats. There is a trade off between different methods of processing.**
