Like all cooperage products, the tub is a wooden tub, most often oak or linden, with two protruding rivets with holes (“ears”) located opposite each other. In the old days, this feature made it easy to transfer liquids using a tub by passing a stick through these holes. Wooden staves are interconnected with a microthorn, without the use of adhesive mixtures, which makes the product particularly durable and environmentally friendly. Outside, the tub is tightened with hoops made only of food-grade stainless steel, which ensures the special strength of the product and protects against rust.
