VERY RARE WWII German Death Card for a Lieutenant in an Engineering Battalion KIA in a STORM ASSAULT

DESCRIPTION: RARE WWII German death card for a decorated Lieutenant in an engineering batallion killed in action during a storm assault.

Specifically: "Hans Braun, Lieutenant in an engineering Batallion, holder of the IRON CROSS 1st and 2nd CLASS, who DIED A HERO'S DEATH on Feb. 11, 1942, aged 26, during a storm assault on the Eastern Front."

NICE PHOTO showing him in uniform wearing BOTH IRON CROSS MEDALS!

Card is in very good condition.

Officer cards are especially scarce. Original card over 80 years old, and a nice picture and story of a soldier who otherwise would be a forgotten statistic.

No additional postage with multiple purchases.

Items are sold ONLY as historical artifacts and I respect the bans of such items in Germany, Austria, or any other countries where bids cannot be accepted.

A different, much more unusual, and higher quality death card vs. the more common ones generally seen on EBAY.
