An original 1st press of this famous hifi LP from 1960. Not a reissue - this is the actual 1960 copy in Mono. Double LP.
The label design is consistent with a 1960 pressing [and not later]. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with original plain white inners.

Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In great shape and has clearly been looked after. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side, some superficial bag-rash marking. I only managed to find one mark that actually sounded - see detail. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. A really nice clean player by and large. All I detected was some very marginal background in one spot per side [e.g. time goes by]. And one small mark causes about 10-12 ticks including one solitary brief jump/wobble - occurs early in 'Can't Take That Away' [ironically!]. Nothing upfront. Very entertaining. Great player across four sides! Original 1960.

Cover (Vg+) Lets face it - not many proper original '60 copies are going to be looking this tidy...some 60 years later. The front is nice and flat and does not exhibit creasing or rge dreaded laminate lift. Someone has managed to get the original sticker off in the bottom left - so just a touch of left over residue. The rear is equally tidy. The interior is not defaced and has not aged much either. TIDY. Lightest edge wear and spine 99% intact. Sweet!

Inners (Vg)  A couple of rips, but otherwise ok.

FREE- with any other LP purchase.
