    1. Set up the tree right from the box
    2. Plug it in
    3. Download the AppLights App onto your smart phone/device
    4. Follow the directions on the app, basically make sure you have bluetooth enabled on your phone/device
    5. The app has 10 screens of instructions at first but really you can go back if you need. Just swipe to the left 10 times to get to the App itself.
    6. Have fun playing with the colors, seasonal variations and blink patterns.
