Macbook Pro 15.4-inch Late 2011 A1286 (EMC 2563*)

MD318LL/A 2.2 GHz Core i7 with 8x SuperDrive CD-Rom and 4GB Ram. **FOR PARTS OR REPAIR.

DESCRIPTION: Purchased from an estate, took to a local Mac repair shop for assessment. This laptop has No hard drive and does not boot up. Upon the shop testing the laptop, I was informed that the CPU... or... GPU is damaged. When plugged into power supply (*power supply not included), laptop initially turned on (sortof) with a pinkish screen, as pictured. Was rebooted using keyboard commands. Again nothing but a pinkish screen. No further testing was performed. I chose not to repair it.

As such, the laptop is sold for parts or repair, AS-IS, with no returns please. The shell looks rather excellent, with no dents, all pertinent screws, and few lite scratches. I was of course not able to test the superdrive cd-rom/dvd player or any other functions. Only the laptop as pictured is included in sale, without hard drive or external power supply. As I cannot boot the laptop up, I've looked up the specs using a couple sites that checks the serial number. Serial number:  C02H44XWDV7L (see photo)

After some research, all the above information about the MacBook Pro specs should be accurate. It is however not possible to tell what resolution the screen may be (as the computer can't boot up and show me that info), as there was an upgradable option(s) that may be greater resolution than I have listed here. But 1440x900 is the standard resultion.
