BRAND NEW PLASTIC (not resin) 3D printed reproduction 1955 AMT Ford Toy Store/Friction version hood ornament.  This one is made in white plastic like the original toy store cars.  Dealer promotional (coaster) cars had painted silver colored (not chrome) plastic hood ornaments for sale here separately in another eBay listing.  Good, strong post for proper and easy installation, should slip right in once the previous ornament debris and glue are removed.  

 

PLEASE NOTE:  EARLY production cars had only a single post while later production ones had two - a larger front post and a smaller rear post to keep the ornaments from swiveling.  This ornament comes with TWO POSTS.  IF YOU TELL ME WHEN YOU ORDER that your car has only the single mounting hole, I'll take care of clipping it with my plastic clippers.  Otherwise, you can do the same or simply sand off the smaller post with one of those cardboard nail files you find at the grocery, CVS, etc.
