The heart stone is framed in lustrous Alchemia gold colored alloy metal, handcrafted in Mexico by  skilled local artisan craftspeople. This lovely pendant is framed by a delicate gold rope & bezel setting and includes a 3mm Alchemia 17" chain, with a 3" extender, which fastens with a lobster claw style clasp.  Charles Albert's Alchemía gold colored alloy metal infuses a special blend of base metals to produce pieces of jewelry with the look and feel of 18K gold. The metal used is also free of nickel, lead, and cadmium.  Because Alchemía is not plated gold, the color you see is inside and out and will not turn or tarnish due to an incredibly, strong, protective lacquer.
