Antique Jays Oxford Street Silver Plated Octagonal Covered Dish with Gadroon Border; numbered 142 & 144.
Noted: a small dent bottom of dish and a cluster of hastag type scratches on lid border (both can be seen in last 2 photos). Otherwise in exceptional antique condition with some tarnish consistent with age.
Dish is 5 in. tall to finial; bottom only is 1 1/2 in. deep; approximately 11.5 in. long and 8.5 in. wide.
This is an excellent quality piece with a nice heavy weight to it (a little over 4 lbs).
