THE COMPLETE SET OF THREE 'COMIC GALLERY' SERIES VOLUMES of
ALEX RAYMOND'S RIP KIRBY, 1946-1950
Published by Verlag Pollischansky 1985
EACH appx 11 x 15" oversize volume has 112 interior pages
RIP KIRBY was the final character created, in 1946, by Comic Artist Grandmaster Alex Raymond, following his successful creations FLASH GORDON, SECRET AGENT X-9, AND JUNGLE JIM.
These three volumes reprint the first four years of the strip in total, from March 4 1946 to March 3 1950.
Each huge page has four of the strips in sequence, as they appeared in English, with German translations underneath the strip [see pic]
Great way to learn German, btw!
CONDITION varies slightly between the three volumes, but is effectively NEAR MINT
Two of the dust jackets have light sunfading on spines [see pic], otherwise the books are exemplary condition!
Try putting a set together - the third volume is always impossible to find!
Due to many requests, I have enrolled in eBay's GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM (GSP) so that buyers OUTSIDE THE USA can have access to purchasing my items.
IMPORTANT: if you wish to buy more than one of my items and have them ship together, WRITE TO ME FIRST before doing anything and tell me which items you want, and I will make a custom listing just for you that includes all of them for the agreed combined sale price.
DON'T click the Buy It Now buttons on the various items first, because the GSP DOES NOT ALLOW COMBINED SHIPPING OF MULTIPLE SALES in the GSP cart!!!
