Vintage Arthur Wood Vase - Keats Art Deco Floral - English Staffordshire Burslem Longport Stoke-on-Trent Bradwell 10"- Rare. h26cm/10", aperture d 13.5cm, base d 10.5cm. Clear printed base stamp ('Arthur Wood England') and impressed stamp ('KEAT'). Relief floral and foliage design. Likely mid to late 1920s, prior to Arthur Wood's son joining in 1928. Coloured versions of Keat are relatively common from 1930s onwards. (Wood collectors please do get in touch if you can date this piece - I have not seen another exactly like it). Lightly crazed, mainly of the interior and base. No chips, cracks or repairs. Good clean scarce item that displays beautifully and is in very good overall vintage condition. 978g unpacked.
