Victorian Jelly Mould, delightful example of antique mould. This is glazed white with a top gloss glaze. Slightly 'crazed' from its age. I have had it in my collection for twenty years. The oval dimensions are:
x 22cm ((8 1/2") Length.18cm (7 1/8") Width. 10cm (4") Depth. Weight: 1158grams.
Similar to the mould seen in February 2023 'Interiors' magazine.
The mould has a classic
10 leafed star pattern, with
17 verticals.
Desirable aged patina, Ceramic in a bright, cream-white finish, one fine crack - see photos. Suitable for display not for food.Dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
