Description:

4 Channel driver board for the popular WS2811 WS2812 LED strings.

This board has a fitted ESP32 module and is pre-loaded with WLED software. It can be reprogrammed via the USB to serial interface (CH340).

The board has a 74HC125 line driver, this driver converts the ESP32 data output of 3V to the 5V signal level required by these LED strips. The LED strips can be either a 5V or 12V version (requiring the correct matching power supply). The board also has a 3.3V regulator that can provide power for the ESP32 when using 5V or 12V supply, no jumper required. The power supply voltage must match the LED strips used, the board does not regulated the LED's power supply.

Connection is via screw terminals.

A 3 pin connector is provided for audio signal input, the audio input is connected to the ESP32's Analogue input. An IR receiver is provided for use with WLED, plus a status LED also controllable via WLED.
