Nikon EP-5B power connector lets you power selected Nikon cameras from Nikon EH-5d, EH-5c, EH-5b, EH-5a or EH-5 AC adapter and that way save battery power. This connector will come in handy when the camera is being used indoors for extended periods use such as for studio sessions, when uploading files to a PC, or when playing back media on a TV.

Simply insert the EP-5B into the battery chamber, powering the camera by continuous AC power instead of Nikon EN-EL15 series rechargeable battery.

Nikon EP-5B can also be used with Nikon MB-D11, MB-D12, MB-D14, MB-D15, MB-D16, MB-D17 or MB-D18 multi-power battery pack, please see the user's manual of your multi-power battery pack for details.
