Description:

Item model number: HW-288
Charging voltage: DC 12.6V~13.6V
Continuous discharge current: maximum 40A (if the heat dissipation environment is not good, please reduce the load current)
Continuous charging current: maximum 20A
Product size: 41*61*4mm
Applicable options: Lithium batteries with a nominal voltage of 3.7v, fully charged 4.2V (including 18650, 26650, polymer lithium batteries), can be equipped with an electric drill below 170W
Note 1: Successfully starting the electric drill requires 4 10C-20C power batteries, or 8 5C-10C power batteries, 0V and 14.4V connecting wires, and copper wires of more than 3 square millimeters.
Note 2: Wiring 0V.3.6V. 7.2V. 10.8V. 14.4V strictly according to the diagram, do not touch any components on the board when soldering the wires, and do not intentionally short-circuit.
Note 3: When the battery is welded for the first time or is being charged, as long as a single battery exceeds 3.6V, the *360° resistance will heat up and discharge (discharge to about 3.59V and stop heating). If the "360" resistor is seriously hot (it is too hot to touch), please check whether the wrong wire is connected, and whether the wrong 4.2V battery is used.

Troubleshooting:
1) Unable to charge---
Troubleshooting and causes: Measure the voltage of 3 groups of batteries, if the voltage of one group of batteries exceeds about 4.25V, the protection board will start overcharge protection.
Treatment method: Pair the battery pack, do not mix the good battery and the bad battery
2) Unable to charge---
Troubleshooting and causes: measure the voltage of 3 groups of batteries, if the voltage of one group of batteries exceeds about 2.7V, the protection board will start overcharge protection.
Treatment method: Pair the battery pack, do not mix the good battery and the bad battery
3) Charge/discharge failure --
Fault inspection and reason: 0V, 4.2V, 8.4V, 12.6V wrong wiring
Treatment method: rewire or replace with a new board
4) Discharge protection--
Fault inspection and cause: Check whether the battery pack has sufficient discharge capacity, and check whether the starting current of the load exceeds the overcurrent protection current of the protection board.
Treatment method: replace the battery pack with a stronger discharge capacity, or a protection board with a larger current
5) Component Welding--
Fault check and cause: There is no connection between one of the pins of the component and the PCB pad.
Treatment method: repair welding
5) Component welding --
Fault check and cause: There is a short circuit between two or more pins of the component.
Treatment method: remove the components and re-solder
7) Electrostatic breakdown A--
Troubleshooting and causes: When the power is not on, measure the G pole, D pole, and S pole of the MOS tube. If the forward resistance and reverse resistance of any two pins are 0Ω, it means that it has broken down.
Treatment method: remove and replace the MOS tube
8) Electrostatic breakdown B--
Troubleshooting and causes: remove the MOS tube, measure the resistance values of the G pole and D pole, G pole and S pole of the MOS tube.
Treatment method: remove and replace the MOS tube
