TONKS was one of the oldest and best known firms in the
Birmingham brassfoundry trade. "W.T.& S" logo stamped
on front cover. Offering a huge array of brass goods used
in many trades, including building, architecture, cabinet-
making among many others. Illustrations to nearly every
one of the 590 pages. A heavy book - - weighs 2lbs., 11 oz.
(1231g). In addition, there is a 42 page index. Measures
about 6" x 9" (22 x 14 cm). The original number (3807) is
stamped on the front board (catalogues were numbered).
