This vintage collar is circa 1950's to 1960's, and was made to add a touch of bling to any outfit. You may chose to stitch it onto a favorite jacket or dress, or simply wear it free-style (there is a metal hook & eye closure at the front). Its made of an ivory colored satin weave fabric, with interfacing to help stiffen it. The entire edge is finished in metal-wrapped thread (bullion), and embroidered throughout are scrolling floral designs in mixed silver and gold bullion thread. Overall condition is good, with some obvious puckering and creasing throughout (needs a proper & professional pressing). Label at underside says 'Handmade in India'.
